The Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre hosts youth forums where grade 11 and 12 students from British Columbia, who have a keen interest in biodiversity and the marine environment, participate in:

    • Field trips, labs, lectures and workshops
    • Research project mentored by scientists/naturalists
    • Ethnobiology lead by Huu-ay-aht First Nations elders
    • Work experience hours
    • Working with a variety of scientists and students
    • Opportunity to meet students with similar interests

We encourage our students to create projects that will promote education and awareness. The following links will take you to their projects:
